Navy Weeks, which have been held since 2005, bring America’s Navy home to up to 15 cities across the country every year. The Navy Week program is the Navy’s principal outreach effort into areas of the nation without a significant Navy presence, with over 250 Navy Weeks held in 80 different U.S. cities.

Navy Weeks focus a variety of outreach assets, equipment, and personnel on a single city for a week-long series of events with key influencers and organizations across the market. During a Navy Week, 75-100 outreach events will occur in participation with corporate, civic, government, education, media, veterans, community service, and diversity organizations throughout the city. Are you planning a road trip or vacation and looking for some fun destinations to visit? Look no further! We’ve compiled a list of cities and states, complete with dates, for you to consider. And if you happen to be near one of these cities during a Navy Week, you’re in for an extra treat!
The Blue Angels, the Navy Parachute Team, Navy bands, Navy divers, namesake ship and submarine crews, hometown Sailors, medical personnel, Navy environmental, USS Constitution Sailors and equipment, and Navy recruiting all participate in the Navy Week program. January 23-29: Miami, Florida
If you’re looking to escape the cold, Miami is the perfect destination. With its sunny weather, beautiful beaches, and vibrant nightlife, there’s always something to do. Take a stroll down Ocean Drive, explore Little Havana, or simply relax on the beach.
February 20-26: Tucson, Arizona
Tucson is a great destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Take a hike in Saguaro National Park, go rock climbing in Mount Lemmon, or explore the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. The city also has a vibrant arts scene, with many galleries and museums to explore.
March 20-26: Shreveport / Bossier City, Louisiana
Located on the banks of the Red River, Shreveport / Bossier City is a great destination for those interested in history and culture. Visit the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum, explore the Red River National Wildlife Refuge, or take a stroll through the Louisiana Boardwalk.
April 3-9: Tri-Cities, Tennessee
The Tri-Cities region of Tennessee, made up of Bristol, Kingsport, and Johnson City, is a great destination for those interested in outdoor activities. Go hiking in the Appalachian Mountains, explore the Bristol Caverns, or take a scenic drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway.
April 10-16: Wilmington, North Carolina
Located on the coast of North Carolina, Wilmington is a great destination for beach lovers. Spend your days lounging on the sand, swimming in the ocean, or exploring the many shops and restaurants in the area. Don’t miss the Wilmington Riverwalk, which offers stunning views of the Cape Fear River.
May 8-14: St. Louis, Missouri
St. Louis is a great destination for families. Visit the Gateway Arch, explore the Missouri Botanical Garden, or take a trip to the Saint Louis Zoo. The city also has a great food scene, with many restaurants serving up delicious barbecue and other local favorites.
June 26 – July 2: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
