Americans for a Stronger Navy Campaign

Please Show the World you Care

As the world becomes increasingly interconnected, the importance of a strong Navy for the United States cannot be overstated. The Navy serves as a critical component of our national defense, projecting our influence around the world and protecting our interests on the high seas.

However, the Navy is facing significant challenges. The fleet is aging, and many of our ships are becoming obsolete. We are also facing increased competition from other naval powers, particularly China and Russia, who are rapidly expanding their own naval capabilities.

To ensure that our Navy remains strong and able to meet the challenges of the 21st century, we need to take action now. That’s why we are launching Americans for a Stronger Navy, a campaign to advocate for increased investment in our Navy and support for our sailors and their families.

Our campaign will focus on these key areas:

Building a modern and capable fleet: We need to invest in new ships and modernize our existing fleet to ensure that our Navy can operate effectively in the modern era. This means investing in cutting-edge technologies such as unmanned vehicles, artificial intelligence, and cyber capabilities.

Investing in Modernization, Support, and Shipyard Facilities: In addition to investing in new ships and modernizing our existing fleet, we also recognize the critical importance of our shipyards and maintenance facilities. These facilities are essential for repairing and maintaining our ships, ensuring that they remain in peak condition and ready for action. We call on our elected officials to invest in these facilities and provide the resources necessary to ensure that they can continue to support our Navy’s mission. By doing so, we can ensure that our Navy remains a reliable and effective force for years to come.

Building a Skilled Workforce: Investing in Education and Training for a Stronger Navy and Shipbuilding Industry: Education and training are crucial components of a strong Navy and shipbuilding industry. We recognize that the Navy needs a highly skilled workforce that is equipped with the latest knowledge and skills in computer technology, cyber intelligence, and other advanced fields. We call on our elected officials to invest in career technical training for sailors and civilians who manage and staff shipbuilding and maintenance facilities. By providing access to high-quality training programs, we can ensure that our Navy has the skilled workforce it needs to operate effectively and efficiently. This investment will also help create jobs and build a pipeline of talented workers to support the shipbuilding industry, which is vital to our nation’s economy and national security.

Supporting our Merchant Fleet: Ensuring National Security and Economic Prosperity: We must also recognize the critical role played by our merchant fleet in supporting our national security and economic interests. These vessels transport goods and materials needed by our military forces overseas and provide a critical supply chain during times of war or national emergencies. They also contribute to our economy by creating jobs and generating revenue. We call on our elected officials to support our merchant fleet by providing resources to maintain and modernize the vessels, investing in the training of merchant mariners, and ensuring that there are sufficient U.S.-flagged vessels to meet our national security needs. By doing so, we can ensure that our merchant fleet remains a reliable and vital component of our national defense and economic prosperity.

Supporting our Sailors and their Families: Our sailors, the hardworking men and women are the backbone of the Navy, and we need to ensure that they have the resources and support they need to do their jobs effectively. This means providing adequate funding for training, equipment, and facilities, as well as support for their families, including healthcare, childcare, and education.

Strengthening our partnerships: The United States Navy operates around the world, and we need to build strong partnerships with other navies and maritime organizations to ensure that we can work together to address common threats and challenges.

We believe that a strong Navy is essential to the security and prosperity of the United States. That’s why we’re launching a petition drive to gather support from Americans across the country. We urge you to join us in supporting a stronger Navy by signing our petition today.

Together, we can ensure that our Navy remains a strong and capable force, ready to defend our country and protect our interests around the world.
