One of our personal favorite group videos:

Why this Matters

The men and women who serve in the Navy are the protectors of their nation in peace and at war. They take their duties and their love for their country very seriously. They know that they have a responsibility to defend their country from any and all threats, and they are willing to make sacrifices to do so.

Today’s Navy faces new challenges

The world was changing rapidly, and new technologies and new enemies were emerging. The Navy needs to adapt and evolve if it was going to continue to be an effective force.

Americans for a Stronger Navy and those that serveand support recognize that the Navy is the backbone of their nation’s defense, and they want to do everything they can to support it.

One of our signature initiatives of Americans for a Stronger Navy was to establish the “Who’s Who” directory program. Every week, we aim to feature an individual, unit, or department that serve in the Navy. They can share stories of dedication, and sacrifice, and they would highlight the many benefits of serving in the Navy.

The “Who’s Who” directory program aims to be a great success. It also aims to raise awareness of the important work that the Navy is doing, and it encouraged more people to consider joining the Navy themselves. It also helped to strengthen the bonds between those who had served in the Navy, and it reminded them of the valuable contribution that they had made to their country.

But the benefits of the “Who’s Who” directory program went beyond just raising awareness and boosting morale. It also helped to strengthen the Navy itself. By highlighting the accomplishments of individual sailors and units, the program encouraged healthy competition and a desire to excel. It also helped to identify areas where the Navy could improve and invest resources, ultimately making it a stronger and more effective force.
